On the company premises of ULT AG in the Kittlitz industrial park near Löbau, five additional charging stations for electric vehicles were recently put into operation. From now on, these will be used to power the electric and hybrid vehicles of the ULT company fleet.
“As a company, we have set ourselves the goal of becoming climate neutral by 2030”, say Stefan and Alexander Jakschik, board members of ULT AG. “The commissioning of the charging stations is another important investment in the direction to sustainable mobility and clean air.”
ULT AG, as a provider of environmental systems for air pollution control and drying in industry, handicraft, and research, has been committed to actively supporting climate protection for a long time. In addition to supporting electromobility processes, the company cooperates with renowned German research institutions on various projects, for example on alternative resource uses or the development of alternative drive technologies.
The company is also planning to hold its traditional ULT symposium as a CO2-neutral event. As part of this, ULT AG would like to plant a tree in a forest in its home region for every participant in the event, which due to the Covid-19 pandemic can take place as a face-to-face event as early as in spring 2022.
