The next ULT Symposium, taking place on 27-28 May 2020 in Löbau/Germany, will be breaking new grounds.
Headlined “Air handling for new technologies”, the next traditional event comes up with a partner for the first time: LaNDER³ is a research-business-driven project of the Zittau/Görlitz University. Additionally, ULT AG will celebrate its 25th corporate anniversary.
The presentation content of the event is focused primarily on the role of efficient air technologies in production and research processes. These are, among others:
- Utilization of fume extraction technology in laser processes
- Utilization of air technologies in additive manufacturing
- Sustainability, environment and resources
- Artificial intelligence
In addition to the presentations, a table-top exhibition will provide first-hand information on issued technologies, providing opportunities for networking and experience exchange.
With LaNDER³ an external partner was brought on board for the first time. The strategic partnership LaNDER3 is a network of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences and regional companies. It includes the sustainable and economical use of renewable raw materials. The aim of the project is to optimize all process steps in the life cycle of composite materials and to supply them with energy within the process - with energetic utilization of the by-products that arise.
The 7th ULT Symposium will again take place in the Blumenhalle of the exhibition center Messepark Löbau. After the record attendance in the last edition in 2018, ULT AG again expects over 100 international visitors from business, research and education.
