The topics of process safety and digital concepts will take center stage during ULT’s trade show appearance at the leading fair LASER World of Photonics in Munich/Germany from 25-28 June 2019.
Safety within laser processes is an important global issue. ULT AG will provide first-hand information on how to guarantee safety for employees, manufacturing plants, product quality and complete processes, based on a practical example.
Additionally, ULT will introduce the new digital customer service FireCS™, providing access to fume extraction units via LAN/WLAN through a special webserver. This allows customers to read out device data, filter saturation, performance data, or the next maintenance date, among others. Furthermore, it is planned that laser processing systems will be able to control and communicate with fume extraction devices in the near future. A specifically designed online portal will enable users to easily access device information, exchange system data with ULT, or even order replacement filters for dedicated units.
Another highlight will be the introduction of the new LAS 200.1 laser fume extractor. The compact and mobile device is the next member within the ULT 200.1 device generation.
ULT’s fume extraction and filtration solutions eliminate airborne pollutants, which are released during laser treatment processes, e.g. laser cutting, laser welding, laser marking etc., ULT AG offers a comprehensive range of both turnkey and customer specific systems to remove hazardous airborne pollutants from laser smoke or laser dust.
In addition, a wide portfolio of air handling solutions for additive manufacturing are offered − for air and gas cleaning as well as post-processing issues. In this area, ULT AG provides fundamental and leading expertise, grown on long-term research and a close cooperation with system suppliers.
